Description

Blackburn 7mm Artificial Grass is a short-pile, budget-friendly surface for areas where quick, tidy coverage matters more than a deep lawn feel. Its 7mm pile gives a clean, uniform appearance that suits balconies, exhibitions, display areas, light-use gardens and landscaping projects.

The low profile makes Blackburn easy to handle, cut and fit, particularly in compact or temporary installations. Unlike many deeper landscape grasses, this product does not use drainage holes, so the intended base and installation environment should be considered carefully where water run-off is important.

For the most consistent colour, order the full quantity for your project together because separate manufacturing batches and roll widths can vary slightly in shade.

Artificial grass installation guide

  1. Prepare the base

Clear turf, weeds and debris, then compact a suitable sub-base.

  2. Lay a membrane

Add a weed barrier and any required foam underlay.

  3. Roll out the grass

Allow it to settle, keep the pile direction consistent, and trim the edges neatly.

  4. Join and secure

Use joining tape and adhesive for seams, then secure the edges.

  5. Brush and finish

Brush fibres upright. Regular brushing keeps your lawn looking fresh.

Care and maintenance

Brush the fibres occasionally to keep the pile upright. Remove leaves and debris, and follow the care advice for your chosen grass.
