Description

Athens 40mm Artificial Grass pairs a deep, comfortable pile with a varied natural colour mix. Classical green and wheat-lime tones in the straight fibres are balanced by green and yellow curly fibres, giving the surface the layered appearance of a healthy lawn.

The 40mm pile makes Athens well suited to family gardens, relaxation areas and outdoor entertaining. Its polypropylene and mesh-scrim backing provides a stable foundation, while drainage holes allow water to move through the surface after rainfall.

UV-stabilised fibres help maintain the colour outdoors, and no sand infill is required for normal use. For the most consistent shade across your installation, order the full quantity together as separate production batches can vary slightly.

Artificial grass installation guide

  1. Prepare the base

    Clear turf, weeds and debris, then compact a suitable sub-base.

  2. Lay a membrane

    Add a weed barrier and any required foam underlay.

  3. Roll out the grass

    Allow it to settle, keep the pile direction consistent, and trim the edges neatly.

  4. Join and secure

    Use joining tape and adhesive for seams, then secure the edges.

  5. Brush and finish

    Brush fibres upright. Regular brushing keeps your lawn looking fresh.

Care and maintenance

Brush the fibres occasionally to keep the pile upright. Remove leaves and debris, and follow the care advice for your chosen grass.
